Have you ever wondered what it's like to climb a frozen waterfall? Now is your time to experience what ice climbing is like with a professional guide. Our experienced instructors will teach you the techniques required for crushing your way up the ice and help you further your education on the ice.
We currently offer a few different options for ice climbing along the Front Range. Located about 25 minutes west of Denver, Clear Creek Canyon in Golden has some great ice for beginner to intermediate ice climbers. All of our prices include ice climbing gear that is required except for boot rental. Gear included; harness, helmet, crampons, and ice tools. Boot rental is $20, and we can provide them for you, and ice climbing boots are required for ice climbing. We will reach out to you via email if you wish to rent boots. For Privately Guided Ice Climbing in Clear Creek Canyon or similar locations, book on this page!
This option is perfect for anyone wanting to try ice climbing and not be in a group. In a Private Ice Climbing Session, your guide will take you climbing in one of the phenomenal ice flows in Clear Creek Canyon for a half day of climbing and instruction. This is for beginner and intermediate ice climbers.
A full day is designed for beginner to intermediate ice climbers with the goal of improving technique through a longer session. In this day, your private guide will take you to multiple areas while giving expert instruction along the way. There is also the option in this day, for more experienced climbers, to do a multi-pitch ice climb. For larger groups, a Full Day is recommended to maximize time on the ice.
We have single-pitch and multi-pitch options for both beginner and advanced climbers looking to enjoy The Park!
